Email fitlens2@gmail.com. We read every email and aim to reply within three working days. In the app, Body → Settings → Help & support shows your app version and has an Email button that puts it in the subject for you.
Please include:
- your phone model and system version, for example "OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, Android 15" or "iPhone 13, iOS 18";
- the sizeref version: in the app under Body → Settings → Help & support, on Android also under Settings → Apps → sizeref;
- what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead;
- a screenshot if you can. Screenshots can show your measurements, so only send what you're comfortable sharing.
How sizeref estimates your size
sizeref compares your body measurements with a product's size chart, how the garment is cut and how much its fabric stretches, together with your fit preferences and how past purchases fitted. It then shows the size most likely to fit you and how sure it is.
The body scan is real: it measures you with the phone's camera and shows each measurement as a range. The camera is used to measure you on this phone; its pictures are never saved or sent; only the measurements are kept. Product reading is real too: you paste a product link or add up to 3 screenshots, and sizeref reads the product's own size chart and details. To do that it sends the link or screenshots to sizeref's reading service and to Anthropic's Claude, after asking your permission the first time; your measurements, sizes and history are never sent (the privacy policy has the details). This is a test version, so a suggested size can be wrong: please email us when one is. Estimates are for choosing clothes only. sizeref is not a medical device and doesn't diagnose, treat or monitor any health condition.
Your data, and deleting it
Your measurements and history stay on your phone, and in your phone's own backup if you use one. To delete everything: Body → Settings → Privacy → Delete my data → Delete everything. Until setup is finished, Privacy is at the top of the Welcome and setup screens, where it opens the same sheet. Uninstalling the app removes the data from the phone, but a copy may stay in your phone's own backup and come back if you install sizeref again or restore your phone from a backup. On an iPhone only a restore from a backup brings it back: installing sizeref again starts empty. To remove that copy, use Delete everything before you uninstall and let your phone make its next backup, or delete the backup in your phone's settings, in your Google or Apple account or, for an iPhone backup on your computer, on that computer. Read the privacy policy for details.
Units
Body → Settings → Units switches between centimetres and inches, and between kilograms and pounds. When you first open sizeref it follows your phone's region: in the United States it starts in inches and pounds, everywhere else in centimetres and kilograms.
Supported phones
- Android 7.0 or newer, with Android System WebView kept up to date through Google Play. If it's too old, sizeref asks you to update it.
- iPhone with iOS 15.5 or newer.
- Phones only: tablets and iPads aren't supported yet.
Known issues (test version 0.1.0)
- If a shop's page doesn't show its size chart as text, sizeref can't read the chart from the link: it asks for screenshots of the product and its size chart instead.
- If a shop lists garment measurements instead of body measurements, sizeref shows the chart but can't suggest a size from it yet.
- If a product page doesn't state the fit, sizeref says "Not stated by the shop" instead of guessing.
- Product reading is limited to 10 products a day on each phone, and it pauses for everyone for the rest of the month if the monthly reading budget runs out. sizeref tells you when that happens.
